Anita Asumadu brings more than 30 years in education, including 20 years in senior leadership and principalship across Aotearoa New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Having recently served as a Tumuaki/Principal, Anita understands the realities of school leadership first hand. She brings this experience to her work with Boards, principals and leadership teams, helping them navigate complex challenges and strengthen their practice.

Anita takes time to understand each school’s kaupapa: aspirations, strengths, challenges and the people who bring its vision to life.
Drawing on her experience as a Tumuaki/Principal and educational leader, she works alongside leaders rather than prescribing solutions. Together, they clarify priorities, challenge assumptions and build the shared understanding, capability and ownership needed to lead improvement from within. This strengthens mana motuhake - supporting schools to determine their own direction and lead change with confidence.

Anita Asumadu brings 30+ years in education, including 20 years in senior leadership and principalship across Aotearoa New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
A recent Tumuaki/Principal, Anita combines deep leadership experience with high-quality expertise to achieve lasting improvement. Guided by service and the common good, she works alongside Boards and school leaders to understand their kaupapa, strengthen capability and build mana motuhake. Through genuine partnerships and accessible support, she helps schools realise their aspirations and flourish.
Across Catholic and State schools, she has supported around 1,000 educators through leadership, consultancy and Ministry of Education roles.
